Arranging a Funeral
The first step to arranging a funeral is to contact the Parish Priest and notify him of the death that has occurred. In the days following it is the custom of the church to publicly announce the death and to pray for the deceased and the members of the family.
The next of kin should also contact a funeral director (undertaker) who will liaise with the Parish Priest and the Cemetery or Crematorium to arrange suitable times for the funeral.
