The Blessed Sacrament Chapel at St Mary’s opened in 1999, since when it has become an integral part of the prayer life of the Parish.
It is open daily from 7.30am to 7.30pm throughout the year, with the exception of Christmas Day.
Giving as it does, twelve hour exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, it provides a place of quiet and stillness where visitors can escape from the busy world of work, find refuge from the anxieties of life, spend time in contemplation or just sit in the presence of God.
It is appreciated by the whole Parish, and from time to time is also visited by our ecumenical friends.
